This simple yet meaningful activity supports fine motor skills, self-expression, and language development—all while sparking heartfelt conversations.
Since it’s Valentine’s season, it’s the perfect opportunity to talk about love and kindness and what those words mean to us. When we did this activity, we took a moment to name someone or something we love for each sticker we placed. It was such a sweet and special way to connect.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

HOW TO SET UP THE ACTIVITY:
-Start with drawing a large heart shape in the center of the paper
-Then add a smaller circle in the center of the heart
SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO INTRODUCE THE ACTIVITY:
Show your kiddo the sheet with circles and stickers.
Explain that they will match the stickers to the circles by placing one sticker on each.
Demonstrate & Encourage Participation
Peel a sticker and place it on a circle while describing your action (e.g., "I am sticking a red sticker on this little circle").
Hand a sticker to your kiddos and encourage them to do the same.
.
Let them explore:
Allow them to peel and place the stickers on the paper independently
They may not get the sticker right on the circle, but give time and encouragement
Expand on the learning:
Ask open-ended questions like "Who do you love?" or "What does it mean to be kind to someone?"
